From time to time Press Meetings are scheduled in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. The dates will be announced 2 to 4 weeks in advance.
Over the past year, Dresden has regularly been in the public news due to the right-wing populist movements. To discuss the implications for the city as well as Saxony as a business and scientific location, IJP offered a two-day media dialogue in November. The agenda included discussions on the economic impact, image damage, refugees, freedom of opinion as well as visits of a demonstration and the countermarch.
At the end of September, straight from the UN in New York and a meeting at FC Bayern Munich, German Development Minister Gerd Müller came to the Allianz premises for a discussion with friends and alumni of IJP.
Right before the summer break we had the chance to meet with Verena Bentele in Munich.
She is a blind German Paralympic biathlete and cross-country skier, an devoted academic and now serves as Federal Government Commissioner for the interests of people with disabilities within the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
